Our new engraving works utilises 15 state-of-the art computerised and laser engraving machines, allowing a high volume of work to be carried out very quickly. We are also employing three full-time and two part-time staff. This will enable us to cater much more for the trade aspect of the trophy and engraving business, than that of the retail market.
As an example, our new laser system enables us to engrave digital JPEG images directly onto a large selection of materials, e.g. glass, leather, wood, plastic, acrylic, anodised aluminium, rubber and even paper, as well as being able to personalise most off the shelf corporate gifts that you may already be supplying. These machines can operate at speeds in excess of two metres per second, allowing orders that would normally take days on traditional engraving equipment to be turned around in hours.
Among our computerised machines we have two constantly set up to engrave cups & plinths, allowing quick turn around or the facility to add logo and club badges to cups & tankards. We are also able to carry out any of the traditional types of engraving, such as badges, brass plates or control panels (up to 3’ square). Trophy plates, corporate logs etc, as well as hot foil blocking and a computerised ring engraving service. Our sandblasting service allows not only glass, but most items, no matter how obscure, to be personalised at very competitive prices.
